These are just a few of the questions we want you to consider. To get better at golf, or anything, there needs to be a plan of attack. Do you have a plan to get better at golf? Are you practicing with a purpose?
Too many golfers simply hit golf balls with the hope they will make good contact. They’re ignoring basic fundamentals like set-up and alignment, not to mention swing fundamentals. Most golfers are fighting one or more serious fundamental swing flaws. So when a golfer practices without purpose, what they are really doing is ingraining swing faults. This is the primary reason that most amateur golfers do not show improvement.
Contrast this with the PGA Tour player who employs a specific plan of attack during each practice session. They key word here is specific. Professional golfers always practice efficiently because they work toward specific goals to address their weaknesses. Most amateur golfers aren’t analyzing which areas they need to focus on, nor employing solid fundamentals into their practice.
We encourage you to sit down with us to gain a better understanding of how and what to practice. At Dynamic Golf Institute, we help all of our students develop specific, sound practice routines. This includes everything from warming up your body and pre-shot routines as well as set-up and swing fundamentals.
