The DGI Junior Golf Academy strives to fit the needs of any Junior Golfer. We believe we have designed an ideal set of options for any junior golfer to choose from based upon their age, skill level, and personal needs. The majority of our juniors train with us in a private instruction setting and also join the appropriate group training classed to accommodate their development. Our experiences have proven that this combination of private and group instruction is the best way for any young golfer to reach their personal goals.
Upon entry to our academy we interview each junior and their parents to learn about their golfing experiences and understand what their goals are as a golfer. From there we design a plan to follow that not only includes instruction, but also appropriate practice expectations to make their goals a reality. Weather you are a beginner to the game or a veteran junior looking to take your game to the next level, we will design a plan that is right for you!
Each player is continually tested and evaluated in all fundamental areas of the game. Following these skill tests, all players will fall into one of four skill categories… beginner, intermediate, advanced, or elite. After determining which skill level the junior player falls into, all of our training programs will focus on challenging the player to get to the next skill level.
We know that the best way to achieve long term improvement with the game is to have our juniors involved in a focused, year round training program. This training model has produced countless high school and collegiate golfers.
